Job Center Community Network
The Prince George’s County American Job Center Community Network is a collective of American Job Centers, community-based organizations, government agencies and faith-based organizations providing a full range of services connecting job seekers to employment and businesses to qualified job seekers in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
CORE PRINCIPLE
Built on a core Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act principle – PARTNERSHIP, the American Job Center Community Network leverages multiple funding sources with community resources and community connections to provide high-quality career services, education and training, and supportive services to the doorstep of job seekers throughout Prince George’s County.
COMMON GOAL
Created by the Prince George’s County Local Workforce Development Board, the goal of the Prince George’s County American Job Center Community Network is to integrate service providers and increase the availability of resources and access to career services for Prince George’s County job seekers. The American Job Center Community Network is designed to increase the skills and qualifications of job seekers and connect them to employment with livable wages within high demand industries.
GOVERNANCE & OPERATIONS
The Prince George’s County American Job Center Community Network is governed by the Prince George’s County Local Workforce Development Board and operated by Employ Prince George’s, Inc.
